The University of Algiers 1 hosts a scientific event on “Artificial Intelligence and Sports.”

As part of the joint event between the Business Incubator and the House of Artificial Intelligence, the University of Algiers 1 Benyoucef Benkhedda hosted, on Monday, July 1, 2024, a scientific event on “Artificial Intelligence and Sports” in the Ben Batouche lecture hall, under the supervision of the Rector of the University, Professor Fares Mokhtari, with the presence of the Vice-Rectors, the Head of the Business Incubator, as well as professors and students from various universities.

On this occasion, the Rector of the University, Professor Fares Mokhtari, emphasized the importance of combining advanced technology and sports in his speech. He also noted the vital role of artificial intelligence in enhancing athletic performance. Professor Mokhtari stressed the need for the university to keep up with the latest developments in this field. He commended the efforts of the Business Incubator and the House of Artificial Intelligence in organizing such events that combine science and sports and affirmed the university’s continuous support for initiatives that contribute to promoting scientific research and developing students’ practical skills.

The event featured various interventions discussing the relationship between physical activity and artificial intelligence, with a focus on smart applications in sports. It also showcased innovative projects created by the students of the incubator.

Additionally, a variety of sports and intellectual activities were organized on the sidelines of this scientific event, including chess, table tennis, martial arts, and more.
