The celebration of the Day of Knowledge at the Faculty of Medicine and the
Faculty of Pharmacy
On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, as part of the celebration of the Day of Knowledge,
Professor Fares Mokhtari, the Rector of the University of Algiers 1 Benyoucef
Benkhedda, has attended a ceremony at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty
of Pharmacy in honor of the students of the 2023-2024 class, in the presence of
the Vice-Rectors, the Deans of Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy,
professors and students from both faculties.
This ceremony comes as a tribute to the efforts of the students during their
academic path, and to encourage them to continue their academic excellence.
Research dissertations and scientific achievements in the field of pharmacy of
the outstanding students were presented during the ceremony, which ended
with the handing over of diplomas to students.
This event highlights the great importance of science and education in the
development and progress of society and emphasizes the role of universities to
enable future generations to tackle scientific and professional challenges.
