1)      Students with an Algerian Government scholarship

Under Ministerial  Circular No. 47 of 05/05/1986, international students are authorized to  register with Algerian universities providing they submit a Certificate delivered  by the Department of Cooperation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Direction de la Coopération du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique).

2)      Children of Foreign Residents in Algeria 

Such students may be granted  a pedagogical seat on the same terms as Algerian students. However, th requirement for their  definite registration is an Authorization delivered by the Department of Cooperation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Direction de la Coopération du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique).

3)      Degree Accreditation :

A Student having engaged in one or several  years’ academic study abroad and wishing to register with the University of Algiers must apply for a Certificate of Accreditation.

The assessment of such  studies conducted  overseas  is made by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Degree Accreditation Committee , which is in charge of establishing the list of modules accredited  by the student and deciding on the year in which he is authorized to register.
