1) Students Granted a Scholarship from the Algerian Government

Under Ministerial  Circular No. 47 of  05/05/1986, international students may register at Algerian universities providing they  submit a Certificate issued  on their behalf by the Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Direction de la Coopération du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique).

2) Students whose Parents are Foreign Residents in Algeria

Such students may enjoy a pedagogical seat along the same terms as their fellow Algerian students. However, for their definite registration they are required to submit an Authorization established by the above mentioned Cooperation division of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. 

3)  Degree Accreditation :

Students having had a course of higher  education of one or several years overseas  have to file an application towards a "Certificate of  Equivalence" assessing their level.

The pedagogical evaluation of such studies carried out overseas is made by the Equivalence Committee of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research,  which is entrusted with  establishing  the list of modules credited  and deciding for which year the student is allowed to register.
